To all of our Pensacola Krewes and entries… It’s been a long time since I came back home (Louisiana) to attend one of my heritage parades . I sit and watch, while my family enjoys. This post is directed to you guys because I need to give you a huge shout out of Thanks! Thank you so much for not littering our streets during our events with discarded bags and boxes and trash. I just watched as float riders threw empty boxes and bags over the float into the streets. It’s a windy day today so bags were flying all over the place. Yes I am from Louisiana and parades are in my blood, but Pensacola is my home and has been for a long while. Thank you for taking pride in our city and our streets! There is no other place I’d rather be than at a Pensacola Mardi Gras celebration, especially one of our great parades that show off our Krewe’s and our community. All of that is because of the quality of our Krewes and that’s you. We say it all the time… OUR KREWES ARE THE BEST AROUND! Thank you! (fb)
