Today in my devotional it said (my paraphrase): the devil is the Accuser—the ultimate guilt-tripper! But shame and guilt can’t stick to you, because of what Jesus shed blood did for you! When others want to remind you of your past or bring up “what you did?” Let it slide right off of you into His blood! You have been Forgiven. I heard a minister say, “people admire your strengths, but connect to your weaknesses.” I endeavor to be real and transparent in my journey of faith because I know when I share what Jesus has done for me or brought me out of, others connect and think “if He can do it for her, He can do it for me! Share your Redemption story—others are listening and watching you overcoming! “And they have defeated him by the blood of the Lamb and by their testimony.” Revelation 12:11 NLT Love, J (fb)

**EDIT: for those who have recently reached out with their stories of betrayal. Here is my advice… Betrayal is the act of violating a trust or confidence…it involves a breach of loyalty or expectation, typically by someone you trusted. It hurts even more, especially when you thought it was someone you could trust. You never expected them to do that to you! Words and actions that wound your soul. Despite the betrayal, NEVER allow the perpetrator to dim your light, silence your voice, or validate your worth. Their betrayal does not define your purpose. Forgive 70x7 and release the weight of the hurt that you’ve been carrying. (Matthew 18:22) When your thoughts remind you of the act of betrayal or they never apologize to you—give it to Jesus. Tears of hurt. He will collect them (psalm 56:8). He is not indifferent to your suffering. He cares. He will vindicate you. He has already justified you—walk in that knowing. “I was betrayed by my friend, though I lived in peace with him. While he was stretching out his hand of friendship, he was secretly breaking every promise he had ever made to me! So here’s what I’ve learned through it all: Leave all your cares and anxieties at the feet of the Lord, and measureless grace will strengthen you.” Psalms 55:20, 22 TPT Love, J (fb)
