Jacksonville Historical District's Mission is to bring our Historic part of town back to life with community-based vision for the preservation of our historic buildings and homes. We will integrate it historic, walk-able, human scaled streets, and the area's historic urban-ism as a way of community building. Focusing on the areas strengths and address its weaknesses to maximize potential. To attain this level of community building will require focus on the preservation of the orginial downtown Jacksonville, the area is appoximatley 8 blocks, the center piece will include a replica of the orginial Jacksonville Train Depot which was orginially constructed in 1871. With an intergration of a mix of retail, caf'e, offices, employment, cultural, Education, housing , outdoor dining
