We may be in for some more threatening weather. Please check on your neighbors. Don't drive or walk into flood waters. If you're in an area prone to flooding, ensure you have a clear exit route and an emergency bag containing essential medications and other necessary items. Take care of your animals. Don't chain them to places that will be flooded. Bring them inside. Have some fresh water available in case your water source is compromised. Pay attention to weather alerts for high winds, heavy rains, flood watches and warnings, and other emergency notifications. Be careful and be safe. (fb)
