Deck The Chairs is a non profit promoting children's arts and arts education THE PURPOSE OF THIS ENTITY IS TO BUILD COMMUNITY PRIDE AND STRENGTHEN LOCAL ECONOMY THROUGH ANNUAL HOLIDAY CHAIR AND LIGHT DISPLAYS; TO CREATE AWARENESS FOR PUBLIC AND PRIVATE ORGANIZATIONS WHILE LIFTING THE ARTS AND GIVING BACK TO THE HISTORIC JACKSONVILLE BEACH LIFEGUARD ORGANIZATION AND OTHER NON PROFIT GROUPS AND OTHER CHARITABLE CAUSES.

Deck The Chairs | Jax Beach Annual Holiday Music & Light Exhibit PROMOTING CHILDREN039S ARTS Jax Beach DTC A beloved Jacksonville Beach holiday tradition featuring more than 60 decorated lifeguard chairs and showcasing five weeks of childrens arts programming. DTC Impact Activating public spaces with nationally recognized events annually showcasing more than 2000 young artists and seen by thousands of visitors from across the US. DTC Service Private and public collaborations serving alongside a community of volunteers working yearround with a commitment to inspire future generations through the arts. DTC Community Arts patrons and benefactors building a stronger community through the celebration of emerging creative talent passionately supporting their young hearts and voices.

The Deck The Chairs (DTC) received nearly 400 entries from talented young artists from across the First Coast as part of the inaugural Deck The Bins student art contest, and is proud to announce the 72 winning submissions. Each winner is receiving $100 and the opportunity to have their designs featured on wooden trash bins throughout Jacksonville Beach, bringing creativity and environmental awareness to public spaces. The judging criteria included creativity, technique, and age skill, with the submissions divided into two age groups β 8-13 and 14-18.
