Celebrating Women's History Month, we’re excited to highlight Cindy Sanchez, a passionate School Social Worker at Alliance Jack H. Skirball Middle School! Cindy doesn’t just support students—she empowers them. She became a social worker to positively impact families and scholars, ensuring they have the emotional and social support needed to thrive. As we celebrate Women’s Herstory Month, Cindy shares: “I am honored to be part of the 8% of first-generation Latinas with a Master’s degree. In my role, I work to create a safe space for scholars—especially young girls—showing them that leadership is built on strength, resilience, and compassion.” Cindy is a fierce advocate for students experiencing homelessness, foster care, and mental health challenges.
