Another incredible day at the Lawndale Museum! One never knows what the day will bring when you decide to volunteer at the museum. Saturday's guests were as always interesting and eager to learn more about everything we presented them with . Guests that are engaging make for the most interesting tours. We want to thank Paul Spencer and his wife for joining us and sharing stories from his childhood experiences with Michael and Mark Rainwater and what it was like to live on River Road. Michael and Mark are the great grandsons of H.S. and Cornelian Williams. Paul had been planning the visit to the museum and brought with him this historic photo of Michael and him as young men. With the spring time weather, there's no better time to get together with friends for a tea! We want to thank Jan and Bob Patterson as well as their good friends Suzanne and R.C. Chaffin for inviting and hosting their neighbors to Lawndale for an afternoon tea!
