YOUNG ARTIST SOCIETY
Young Artist Society (YAS) empowers future generations to pursue education, serve their community and achieve success creatively. YAS is a music production and entrepreneurship program engaging disconnected young people throughout Maricopa County. We aim for every YAS student to achieve graduation by cultivating community leaders.YAS strives to reach students that the traditional education system does not reach and gives them the support needed to obtain their high school diploma. In Arizona more than a quarter of our students drop out. Our unique program targets youth deemed the most at-risk in our community and teaches them about finding their core values, breaking down myths they believe about themselves and learning how to win in life. We believe placing a greater value on how our students learn and not what they learn, encourages life-long learning. We create an environment that weaves in material teenagers are interested in learning, music production, with a curriculum of servant leadership and business principles.
