A Leading Independent Coeducational College Preparatory Day School • Prekindergarten-12th • THE PURPOSE OF THE CHCS STUDENTS' ASSISTANCE FOUNDATION IS TO PROVIDE NEED-BASED FINANCIAL AID TO IMPOVERISHED STUDENTS' ATTENDING CAPE HENRY COLLEGIATE SCHOOL. FUNDING FOR THE FOUNDATION IS DEPENDENT UPON DONATIONS AND UPON PROCEEDS RECEIVED FROM SPECIAL EVENTS CONDUCTED BY THE FOUNDATION. THE FOUNDATION'S UNRESTRICTED ASSETS PROVIDE FINANCIAL AID ONLY TO THOSE STUDENTS WHOSE FAMILIES MEET GUIDELINES ESTABLISHED BY THE COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA RELATIVE TO THE POVERTY LEVEL.
