We need some help boarding Scoobi for 2 weeks. Some of you follow my personal profile and know what's going on with my daughter's health. I will also be updating her progress there as well. My daughter has been a very important part of the rescue for 14 years. Just about all her teen years. Without her help all these years, Bark N Rest Retirement Center would not have been possible. My daughter needs 2 brain surgeries. Her first one is scheduled in April. She has a rare combination of several cranial nerve disorders. The doctor said only 1 in one million people have this as severe as she does. She is in agony and it's progressive. This is also called suicide disease just from the sheer pain. She is now in medication failure. Nothing helps. Nothing. Rachel and I will be in California for 5 weeks for the surgery. The only doctor with the experience to do this type surgery. For 2 weeks, Richard will be flying out and staying for the surgery. That's why we need to board Scoobi. We have a dog sitter coming for the others. But Scoobi needs more hands on care. We have boarded before at House Of Wag. The only place I trust with our special needs. The cost for the 2 weeks is $700. With all the medical expenses we face, we just do not have it.
