Journey North Opera Company is a Twin Cities based arts organization dedicated to modernizing opera, sharing relevant stories, and employing local artists. Formerly known as Twin Cities Fringe Opera, Journey North Opera Company (JNOC) is an independent arts organization dedicated to evolving and modernizing the conventions of grand opera. Our mission is to present innovative and engaging performances by combining emerging technologies with intimate performances spaces. JNOC strives to invigorate audiences and make connections that will grow and shape the future of opera. JNOC provides a creative platform for local talent seeking to bring something new to opera and works to deliver high standards in both musical and theatrical aspects of every performance.
