Enriching the lives of children and families by offering free experiential education opportunities c Circle of Children was founded in 2010 with the purpose of empowering youth voices through hands-on, nature-based, educational opportunities in an environment that fosters deep connection, respect, and reverence for ourselves, our community, and the earth. Our mission is to create enriched environments that empower youth through nature connection, self‐discovery, community building, and collaborative service‐learning projects that promote a healthy and thriving planet. Our primary activities center around cultivating an understanding of the natural environment through project and service‐based programs that educate children and youth on pressing environmental issues and inspire them to become impassioned leaders of change. Our organization is fully volunteer run and we focus our efforts on serving children and youth from low-income families by providing free educational programs and services in Lane County, Oregon, including the cities of Eugene and Springfield, as well as the surrounding suburban and rural communities.
