The Madisonville Miners is a summer collegiate baseball team that calls Elmer Kelley Stadium home. MADISONVILLE MINERS CONVERTED TO NONPROFT BECAUSE THEY BELIEVED IT WAS THE BEST ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE TO PROMOTE THE AMATEUR BASEBALL LEAGUE. THE ORGANIZATION BELIEVES THAT THE CONVERSION TO A NONPROFIT WILL HELP WITH FUNDING FOR EQUIPMETN AND FACILITY UPGRADES. THE ORGANIZATION WAS NOT OPERATING WITH A PROFIT MOTIVE THUS THE CONVERSION TO A NONPROFIT WAS AN OBVIOUS MOVE.
