Be-Paws We Care, Inc. (BPWC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization provides low cost spay and neuter assistance to Pickens County, GEORGIA residents and their pets as well as to caretakers of feral cat colonies. Be-Paws We Care, Inc. (BPWC) is an all-volunteer Animal Advocacy Group, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. BPWC offers low cost spay and neuter assistance through Spay-Neuter Initiative Pickens (SNIP) to our county residents’ pets. An additional discount is allocated for those that qualify for low income, military and senior citizens. Also Pickens Community Cat Program (PCCP) a trap-neuter-return program was implemented in the fall of 2020 for our feral cat colonies. Both programs have been created to help reduce the unplanned, unwanted pet population that either become homeless or end up at the county shelter.
