Empowering Strides is a Therapeutic Riding program focusing on empowering leadership and confidence in youth facing emotional and cognitive challenges. Empowering Strides’ mission is to empower children with emotional, behavioral and/or cognitive challenges through therapeutic horsemanship to improve social/emotional interaction and helping to build a deeper sense of self awareness. While riding and learning to care for the program horses, we instill confidence, responsibility, and self-worth in our students. We create a positive and impactful setting using animals that enriches each rider’s life.
