🎲✨ Probability in Action! ✨🎲 . Our 4th graders put their math skills to the test in the Math Lab, designing and building their own probability games as part of an exciting hands-on project! After learning about probability concepts like coin flips 🪙 (heads or tails), card flips 🃏 (red or black), and Plinko-style ball drops 🎯, they created fun and engaging games for their 1st-grade buddies to play. . But the learning didn’t stop there! They had to calculate prize distribution 🎟️—making sure every participant had a chance to win—and added a service component by collecting food donations 🥫 for the Needham Community Council’s Needham Food Pantry as the “entry fee” to play. .
