Carver Neighborhood Market recently became a classroom for Carver High School’s French 4 Honors class! After shopping in the store, Ms. Richardson and her students practiced their French by discussing ingredients and dishes that could bring the taste of France to the South Atlanta community. Our South Atlanta Youth Group had a blast strawberry picking at the Price Middle School farm with our friends at Citizen Farmers. The kids learned the power of teamwork, figuring out that full buckets come quicker when you work together. And of course, they loved munching on local, organic “candy” straight from the vine!
