Following President Trump's Executive Order on March 14 eliminating the Institute of Museum and Library Services, statewide research database offerings will be significantly reduced starting on July 1. The Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners (MBLC) and the Massachusetts Library System, which jointly fund databases, will maintain several of the most heavily used. You can sign up for a BPL eCard on their website if you don't have one already. This eCard can be used to access many online resources and databases to supplement those provided by Forbes and CW MARS (including some familiar services like Libby App, Kanopy, and Hoopla Digital).
