AS SUCH, IT CONDUCTS RESEARCH TO DETERMINE AND SHARE BEST PUBLIC HEALTH PRACTICES WITH ITS MEMBERS AND MEMBERS OF LEGISLATIVE BODIES. TACCHO ADVOCATES FOR BEST PRACTICES AND PROVIDES PROFESSIONAL OPINIONS ON LEGISLATIVE MATTERS RELATED TO PUBLIC HEALTH. TACCHO ALSO CONDUCTS EDUCATIONAL MEETINGS AND PREPARES AND DISTRIBUTES EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS TO FEDERAL AND STATE LEGISLATORS.
