We wont rest until every state has strong gun safety laws and every community is free from the fear of gun violence.

This weekend, Governor Josh Stein vetoed the NRA-backed permitless carry bill 👏👏👏 This bill would have allowed people who have never passed a background check to carry hidden, loaded guns in public crowds which is a measure that is proven to increase violent crime. NC families and communities deserve real solutions to address gun violence and crime —not extremist proposals that jeopardize public safety, and make it harder for law enforcement to do their jobs. We applaud Governor Stein for putting public safety first and rejecting permitless carry in North Carolina.
