The Settlement Home for Children is a private, licensed nonprofit that cares for children who come from abusive and neglectful backgrounds. Through a variety of services and programs, we are able to meet the specific needs of each individual we serve. The mission of The Settlement Home is to meet the ever-changing needs of our community's most abused and neglected children. Our guiding philosophy is that love and commitment have a profound influence on human behavior, and our guiding belief is that children can be made safe, families can heal, and the human heart can always find, and choose, a better way of life.
