Dordt University is investing in key improvements to the Rozenboom Athletic Center, with renovations scheduled to be completed in late fall. This is phase two of a three-phase project, with updates that will enhance spaces that serve hundreds of student-athletes each year, with a focus on functionality, efficiency, and long-term growth. The project includes a reconfiguration of locker rooms and an expansion of the athletic training room—changes designed to better meet the needs of Dordt’s growing athletics programs. Once complete, the updated spaces will improve traffic flow, provide more room for student-athletes and training staff, and support a higher level of care and preparation for athletic performance. Dordt University recently dedicated the John J. and Henry J. Spronk Animal Science Education Center, a state-of-the-art, multi-species facility designed to enhance hands-on learning and research opportunities for Dordt students in agriculture. This new building features an enclosed area with an entry space, a feed preparation area, restrooms, and mechanical and storage spaces. The west and east ends of the barn each have open areas designated for animals with flexible penning options. The facility, located at the Agriculture Stewardship Center, is part of Dordt’s ongoing efforts to provide industry-relevant experiences for students preparing to serve in agriculture and animal science fields.
