The lodge was chartered by the Grand Lodge of Illinois as Nebraska Lodge #184 on October 3, 1855. Other early lodges were formed in Nebraska City and Omaha, leading to the establishment of the Grand Lodge of Nebraska on September 23, 1857[1][2][3].
