Our Mission: We advance educational equity by building long-term partnerships with students, families, communities, and schools to create experiences outside of school that inspire the joy of learning. Horizons Hampton Roads offers impactful academic and enrichment programs that encourage students from Norfolk, Portsmouth, and Virginia Beach to realize their full potential. The program follows the award-winning Horizons National model by offering an effective six-week educational enrichment program to children in grades K-8 from under-resourced communities in Norfolk, Portsmouth, and Virginia Beach, Virginia. The Horizons LaunchPad High School program serves students year round to help ensure their on time graduation and matriculation into advanced training or education.
