Daughters of the British Empire in South Carolina Not ourselvesbut the Cause Since 1974 South Carolina members of the Daughters of the British Empire have supported local and regional charities while enjoying fellowship among members and their families. DBE members are women of British or Commonwealth birthnaturalization or ancestry as well as women who have spouses of British or Commonwealth birth naturalization or ancestry.
