Who We Are – United Irish of Dayton Who We Are The United Irish of Dayton Inc. strive to unite Irish groups in the greater Dayton area to promote the rich but often invisible historical and cultural heritage of the Irish people through education service charity and community events. The United Irish of Dayton Inc. was founded in 1973 when independent Irish groups in the greater Dayton area came together to represent the country of Ireland at the first annual World AFair.

Our last headliner for the year, the one you know and love, we cannot WAIT to have Gaelic Storm back for the Dayton Celtic Festival. This multi-national, Celtic juggernaut grows stronger with each live performance, and as you can imagine, after two decades and over 2,000 shows, it is a true force to be reckoned with. Gaelic Storm’s storytelling, thrilling instrumentals, and devotion to traditional Celtic music have captivated their legion of fans over the last 20 years.
