I.D.E.A.S. 40203, its current leadership, staff and board assumed control of the organization in late 2013 -- taking over from the previous leadership, staff and board at every level. The organization is now an artist-run specialty chamber of commerce for business entrepreneurs and other creative minds (ex. artists, video game designers, musicians, etc). We encourage creative minds to network together with business for economic development in Louisville’s urban core (Old Louisville, Smoketown, SoBro, University, Germantown, Central Business District, etc) Social investment strategies, new market development and member networking and advocacy are at the core of our mission.We are building a highly skilled, thoughtful and provoking international network of contemporary artists to consult with Louisville’s corporate community across a broad spectrum of industries. Our approach is to introduce productive, creative minds into business systems. Our job is to collaborate with companies to build Louisville’s creative intelligence and innovation capabilities. Our goal is to accelerate sustainable, quantifiable economic and civic innovation that improves people’s lives.
