C3 Church Nashville

C3 Church Nashville, formerly known as C3 Music City, is a part of the C3 Church Global movement, an international family of churches focused on spiritual growth and community development. Historically, C3 Church Nashville played a role in serving the Nashville community as part of this global network. However, the church has since rebranded and is now known as Cathedral.

History

C3 Nashville was once part of a broader international movement founded by Phil and Chris Pringle, who started the C3 Church Global in 1980 with a vision to create contemporary, relevant, and anointed churches. The church in Nashville was part of this initiative to establish vibrant communities of faith across different regions.

Mission and Culture

The mission of C3 Church Global, which is reflected in its former Nashville chapter, emphasizes being Christ-centered, Spirit-powered, and Connect-driven. The organization aims to help people develop a fresh, personal relationship with Jesus and foster communities that are hospitable, generous, and fun. The churches under the C3 banner strive to build faith-filled environments where believers can grow and serve others.

Rebranding to Cathedral

In recent developments, C3 Nashville has transitioned to become Cathedral, signaling a new chapter in its history and ministry. This transition reflects a desire to redefine what it means to be a community of believers in Nashville, fostering an authentic gathering of followers of Jesus who can impact their city in meaningful ways.

Structure and Purpose

C3 Church Nashville, under its previous identity, operated as a nonprofit organization with an EIN of 462793194. The purpose of the church was to support spiritual growth and community engagement in line with the broader C3 Church Global vision. As Cathedral, it continues to pursue these goals, albeit with a renewed focus and identity.
