(NCC) is a 501©3 non-profit organization that is one of the region’s largest non-governmental providers of services for the developmentally disabled, offering an array of services to infants, children and adults in DC Founded in 1958, the National Children's Center, Inc. (NCC) is a non-profit organization that serves hundreds of infants, children, and adults, with and without disabilities, in the Washington, DC, area. Our mission is to enhance the lives of people of all ages, diverse backgrounds and differing abilities through inclusive opportunities. Our programs support young children and families through our Early Learning and Early Intervention Center and Urban Garden initiative, located in DC’s Ward 8; and adults aged 18+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities through residential apartments, group homes, and day habilitation programs that teach life skills and create opportunities for community integration. NCC's goal is to become a catalyst for everyone to live, grow, work, and thrive.
