First Steps provides support and coordinated services to meet the developmental needs of children from birth to age five. We work in partnership with parents, caregivers, childcare providers and other community stakeholders and focus on serving families whose children are at risk of school failure.

#GetToKnowOurBoard: Jennifer Pinkerman, Board Member 🌟 Meet Jennifer Pinkerman, an advocate for early literacy and a valued board member at Greenville First Steps. Jennifer is the Children's Area Supervisor at the Greenville County Library System, where she brings stories to life and inspires children to love reading every day. One of her favorite books to read with kids is "Bark, George" by Jules Feiffer, a silly and sweet story that always brings laughs.
