History

Founded in 1944 by Jessie Elizabeth Bardens, Questers Inc. initially started as a local group interested in antiques. It evolved into a national organization in 1950 and was formally incorporated under Pennsylvania law by 1953. The organization expanded to become international in 1991, with chapters across the United States and Canada.
