ParadeRest Our Mission To Honor and Appreciate the Sacrifice of our Military and Military families Past Present and Future. Connecting Veterans in the Charlottesville Community ParadeRest has served the University of Virginia and Charlottesville area veteran community since 2009. Our primary effort is to engage military personnel and their families with the local community. We provide donated tickets for veterans to attend local events we host races and fundraisers to bring the community together and fund veteran services we run programs to identify the fallen and preserve veterans stories and we salute those members of our community who serve.
