Welcome to Summit Legal Defenders. We are a nonprofit legal agency serving as the public defender for Summit County Ohio. Our office handles felonies misdemeanors juvenile unruly and delinquency cases parent representation in abuse neglect and dependency cases and contested adoptions for indigent citizens of Summit County. We have offices in downtown Akron Barberton and in the Summit County Juvenile Akron and Stow courthouses.
