Postcard of the Dixie Steamer from 1924. The Dixie regularly ferried passengers and freight to Captiva. It's one of many postcards that can be found on the CIHS online archives, containing more than 14,000 digitally archived items, including: family letters, newspaper articles, photographs and audio recordings.
