As #FosterCareAwarenessMonth draws to a close, the urgency of our mission at Paths for Families feels more profound than ever. For 35 years, we have been dedicated to supporting and strengthening the lives of every child, every family, every step of the way. This commitment led us to launch our Foster Care Adoption Program in 2000, driven by a vital goal of ensuring no child ages out of foster care without the love and support of a permanent family. This remains a critical challenge today, with over 18,000 children aging out of foster care each year without permanency – a reality we are committed to changing. Supporting our 35th Anniversary campaign will help us change lives as we work to ensure the nearly 109,000 children who are eligible for adoption in the public foster care system are able to feel the love, safety, and security of a permanent family.
