Medicare Assistance & Counseling Inc
The mission of Medicare Assistance & Counseling, Inc. (MACI) is to provide Medicare beneficiaries, the disabled, caregivers and family members with a convenient means of accessing free Medicare and healthcare counseling. MACI operates a dedicated help-line to counsel beneficiaries on their Medicare right, benefits and available healthcare options. This delivery method is most important and needed for those who are homebound, institutionalized, disabled, lack dependable transportation or have minimum information technology skills. Free use of our statewide help-line counseling service also extends to the general public. MACI Internal Revenue Service "tax exempt" status 501 (c)(3) became effective 18 September 2013. The organization is registered in the State of Virginia as a nonprofit.
