🎓 Senior Spotlight: Ayvrie Hamstra 🎓 Originally from Colorado Springs, Ayvrie came to MBU for its incredible nursing program and found so much more along the way. From being part of ResLife to attending events like First Thursdays in the Perk and the Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt, she’s made lifelong friends and unforgettable memories. One of the most meaningful experiences of her time at MBU was traveling to Greece and Liberia with the School of Nursing, gaining a deeper understanding of global healthcare. Looking back, she says the biggest lesson she’s learned is that stepping outside your comfort zone is where the most growth happens. After graduation, she’s excited to start her career as an Emergency Department nurse at Mercy St. Louis.
