TO RAISE MANAGE INVEST AND EXPEND FUNDS FOR THE SUPPORT OF WASHBURN RURAL HIGH SCHOOL. The Blues Backers (PTO) works behind the scenes to help WRHS establish and maintain a proud image by supporting its students' academic and extracurricular activities and the efforts of its staff. The PTO contributes volunteer time and money to WRHS with approval as requested. The PTO provides Washburn Rural teams, clubs, and activity groups extra opportunities to raise funds using our stocked and well-maintained concession stands. The PTO hosts Post Prom, an exciting late-night festivity for the teenagers in our community. The event aims to reduce the chances of young people making harmful decisions and promote their safety through enjoyable, memorable, and rewarding fun.
