WAGS HOPE AND HEALING
We are a nonprofit organization in Austin that rescues, rehabilitates and then finds loving homes for disadvantaged or abused dogs. Rescue animals from death, cruelty, abuse, neglect & homelessness. Rehabilitate and find loving homes for animals who were victims of abandonment, abuse, or neglect. Outreach to our community and access to information. We do this in two ways: 1) Community Outreach - Provide resources for pets and their owners to keep pets in their homes, off the streets and out of shelters. 2) Spay & Neuter program - Spay & neuter is the best way to combat animal overpopulation because it prevents thousands of unwanted dogs and cats from ending up in our shelters. To support this we provide low cost / free spay and neuter services and education to those in our community. Enrichment to those in our care and advocate by supporting our community leaders and law enforcement.
