For the Love of Mateo is a 5013C NonProfit Organization that primarily supports over 13 outreach programs throughout Guatemala. FTLOM provides both monetary & financial assistance, as well as mentorship to children, teens & families living in poverty in Guatemala. To stop the cycle of poverty, neglect & abuse ; we need to educate our youth & help to create sustainable jobs and programs which give those in need a hand up versus a handout. From children living with HIV; building over 45 homes for families & providing beds, water filters & stoves to hundreds of families, providing educational based scholarships for 170 children, building schools & classrooms to creating a grocery program which delivers groceries to 50 families, to supporting orphanages, after school programs, nursing homes and homes for the elderly living with Dementia & Alzheimer's; FTLOM is truly making a difference.
