Michael currently serves as the Deputy County Manager and will be stepping into his new role later this year. Here's a snippet from our "Access to Care" section about some great services and items that our Physicians Reach Out team has been able to secure for our patients: > Secured a free VNS (Vagus Nerve Stimulation) implant from LivaNova for a pediatric epilepsy patient. > Secured a free CPAP machine plus a deeply discounted year's worth of supplies for a patient for sounder, safer sleep. > Secured funding for a wheelchair from Wheelchairs 4 Kids for a quadriplegic pediatric patient to improve mobility and their ability to participate more fully in life's activities. > Formed an agreement with Lydia's Loft charity thrift store in Huntersville for referrals for our patients to shop for clothing every 30 days, helping them to have a dignified appearance.
