Upcoming Trainings Calendar Peer Specialist Supervisor Training Tuesday March 11 2025 900 CDT AM 500 CDT PM Peer Support Specialist Supervisor training is a twoday training that will equip participants with basic information to effectively supervise peer specialists. This training will focus on defining the basic expectations RECOVERY INSTITUTE ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGE A Focus on Engagement Local Solutions Recovery Institute initiatives are designed to support the implementation of new practices shift organizational culture promote innovation and increase collaboration within and among teams preparing agencies to meet the challenges and opportunities arising in our rapidly changing environment. Working as a Team To Make A Difference How Peer Specialists Fit IntoThe Healing and Recovery Model Peer support specialists are people who have lived experience with a mental health or substance use disorder and are in recovery.

Via Hope is accepting applications for the Reentry Peer Specialist Certification Training on March 17th - 22nd, 9am - 5pm CST. This virtual training is developed for formerly incarcerated individuals who wish to help other people through recovery and reentry. It's designed to directly address the barriers to becoming a "whole person" that many people face after release, as well as the trauma people experience before, during and after incarceration.
