Last month, members of OneWest had the pleasure of attending a special program hosted by The ACE Project, located in the heart of the Portland neighborhood. The initiative focuses on empowering underserved children and families affected by gun violence and trauma. This program, Men In The Making, focused on mentoring young men into self-sufficient men of character and taught skills including on painting, minor drywall repairs, car maintenance, culinary, and house maintenance to name a few. It was a remarkable day! OneWest is looking to partner with The Ace Project through a joint effort with MCAK providing mentorship and training. (fb)

OneWest is a communityfocused nonprofit organization that supports connects and uplifts neighborhood residents by involving them directly in the West Ends commercial renaissance. We do this by securing funding facilitating community connections and providing workforce training. .
