The mission of the Custer County Foundation is to seek out, receive, and administer funds to meet the present and future needs of the residents of Custer County. A community foundation can transform good intentions into reality. The Custer County Foundation is a community foundation, and has four main purposes: -Seek funds from private sources in the form of gifts and inheritances to build a pool of capital for philanthropic purposes -Distribute these funds for public needs -Provide leadership for community activities -Improve the qualify of life in Custer County
