THE PRINCIPAL PURPOSE OF THIS ORGANIZATION IS TO PROVIDE TEMPORARY ASSISTANCE TO PERSONS IN NEED INCLUDING SHELTER SERVICES. OUR OBJECTIVE IS TO FILL THE GAP FOR THE HUNGRY, THOSE WITHOUT ADEQUATE CLOTHING OR MEDICINE, AND THOSE WHO NEED TRANSPORTATION DUE TO AN EMERGENCY OR CRISIS. VIA OUR SHELTER PROGRAMS, FISH EXTENDS OPPORTUNITY FOR PERSONAL AND ECONOMIC GROWTH AND RESOLUTION TO HOMELESSNESS. FISH SERVES INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES FROM THE GREATER ALBANY AREA INCLUDING NORTH ALBANY AND OUTLYING COMMUNITIES AND OFFERS SHELTER TO TEEN MOTHERS FROM ALBANY AND OTHER LOCATIONS IN OREGON WITHOUT REGARD TO SEX, RACE, COLOR, AGE, NATIONAL ORIGIN, OR HANDICAP.
