Opportunities through Community…this is our theme for 2025! Throughout the year, you will learn how people supported by Black Hills Works are connected to our community through the opportunities you make possible. These stories will include the 24 honorees that will be celebrated at our Annual Recognition Gala. Meet Max! He grew up on a farm, then lived in Watertown, and moved to Rapid City in 2021 to participate in Black Hills Works. He is involved in residential programming and Special Olympics bowling. Max loves hanging out with his housemates and staff, listening to music, going for drives, and watching instructional videos on how to build things.
