The TJ Partnership Fund is excited to announce a new Innovation Partnership with Primis Bank! Representatives from Primis joined us for InnovateTJ 2025, a unique event presented by TJ's LaunchX club, and enjoyed stimulating conversations with students from TJ and other schools in Northern Virginia. InnovateTJ brings students in for an all-day entrepreneurship and innovation incubator. The day begins with a theme of innovation - this year's was "Sustainability" - and students break into teams to ideate a theoretical product to solve the problem. LaunchX leaders assist them during the day by hosting seminars on topics ranging from identifying product-market fit to developing a compelling pitch deck, before the students engage in a "Shark-Tank" style pitch session with real-life business leaders! Primis representatives engaged in stimulating conversations with students at their sponsorship table while two representatives served as judges for the event. We were also privileged to take their representatives on a tour of the TJ campus, allowing them to see some of the amazing facilities that their contributions will support alongside their participation in InnovateTJ. As a technology-driven bank, Primis understands the importance of advancing STEM opportunities for women and minorities. Primis is proud to support TJHSST's Innovate TJ and future STEM professionals.
