Jamie's Run is a 5K run, 3K charity walk, and Kids K fun run benefiting Connecticut Children's. Jam Jamie's Run honors the short life of Jamie Lynne Knotts who died in 2010 of a rare liver cancer at 5 1/2 months old. The annual event raises money for Connecticut Children's Medical Center Dept. of Hematology/Oncology, to fund the search for a cure to pediatric cancers, and to lessen the emotional and financial burdens of families fighting these terrible diseases.
