📣 ANNOUNCEMENT: A New Chapter for Springs of Life Recovery Center For more than ten years, God has used Springs of Life Recovery Center to bring hope, healing, and restoration to many lives. Now, we’re stepping into a new season—one we believe God has been preparing all along. Springs of Life Recovery Center, the first well of the Springs of Life Foundation, is transitioning from a residential men’s program into a Christ-centered Day Center serving both men and women. With this shift, the Recovery Center’s mission becomes: 👉 Rescuing Lives, Restoring Families, and Rebuilding Communities. This change reflects a broader reach and a deeper alignment with the calling God has placed on our team—to serve with gifts of mercy, helps, and a heart for those living on the margins. As Well #1, the Recovery Center continues to live out the broader vision of the Springs of Life Foundation: 🌱 From Sun-Scorched to Well-Watered (Isaiah 58:11) “The Lord will guide you always; He will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land… You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.” In our language, a “well” is a Christ-centered space that cultivates transformation. The Recovery Center is just the first of many wells to come—spaces of healing, belonging, and new life. We’re also excited to continue the work of Well #2: Solid Grounds Coffee Shop, which remains a welcoming space for our community while creating hands-on opportunities for young leaders to grow in the gifts of hospitality and servant leadership. Beginning next summer, we plan to offer free housing to our baristas who are students at the University of the Cumberlands, in exchange for volunteer hours at the Day Center. This initiative will allow students who desire to go deeper in Christ-centered service to demonstrate the love of Jesus while developing and strengthening their own skills, calling, and understanding of Kingdom-minded leadership. This transition not only expands who we serve, but also how we serve. As part of our renewed mission, we are: • Continuing to provide low-barrier, faith-based recovery support at our Day Center in Jellico • Offering free services such as case management, hot meals, purposeful activities, and relational discipleship • Building meaningful partnerships to strengthen the recovery ecosystem across Campbell County • Developing a mobile support team that will come alongside existing recovery ministries—offering on-campus assistance, encouragement for their staff, and direct support to their residents This season also creates margin—margin for our team to live out their God-given callings, and margin for others on staff to pursue new wells, which will be announced in the months ahead.
