🎉 Our Chief Health Officer Maura McClain MS, RDN, LDN was recognized with the 2025 Young Dietitian award from the North Carolina Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics! 🏆 According to the program, the RYDY program is to recognize the competence and activities of younger dietitians in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and to encourage their continued patrician in association affairs. Maura — who celebrates three years at HHC this month — has been instrumental in forming our current Food is Medicine program structure. "I'm incredibly honored to receive this award," Maura said. "I love getting to share nutrition information with anyone and everyone who comes to our doors, and love getting to advocate for dietitians and this field.
